Preserve, protect, and provide museum display and interpretation of the historical artifacts, archives (documents, media, pictures) and Tlingit artifacts and regalia from the Sitka region, and provide a major Museum display for viewing by visitors from the tour boat industry, independent visitors, and local residents.
