PFD Charitable Contributions Program

Alaska has passed a new Law that will permit you to donate a portion of your PFD to the non-profit of your choice. If you register for your PFD on the Internet in this year, you could donate to the Sitka Historical Society and Museum. A donation is tax deductible and you will receive a receipt and notification from the State.

When you finish the sign up for your dividend, you will have the option to donate. Search for us by choosing Region 1 and our name, The Sitka Historical Society and Museum. Click and follow the instructions to make a donation of the amount you choose. Next, provide your contact information to us on-line so we can acknowledge your generous support, and know who is giving.

Donations go to saving and showing Sitka’s History and will be carefully monitored by the Board.
